More than 4,600 officials and employees from 64 organizations, including hospitals under the National Health Commission, district health commissions, the Beijing Municipal Health Commission and its three affiliated bureaus, municipal hospitals and organizations directly affiliated with the Commission, gathered at the venue to take part in the event.

With the theme “Vibrant Healthcare, Active Beijing,” the sports meet showcased the energetic and forward-looking spirit of Beijing's health and healthcare system and its collective commitment to working together to open a new chapter in the development of the capital's health and healthcare sector. The event emblem was designed by an employee of the health and healthcare system, vividly reflecting the commitment, teamwork and dedication of healthcare professionals, while incorporating distinctive elements of Beijing.

The opening ceremony was grand, lively and full of highlights. Accompanied by the stirring Athletes' March, the national flag, event flag, event emblem and red-flag formations entered the venue first, followed by 51 teams in formation, each showcasing its unique spirit and style. Dressed uniformly and displaying high spirits, the teams delivered spirited slogans, demonstrating the energetic, enterprising and united spirit of officials and employees across Beijing's health and healthcare system.

Leaders of the Beijing Municipal Health Commission delivered the opening address. Leaders from the China Education, Culture, Health and Sports Workers' Union, the National Health Commission, the Beijing Federation of Trade Unions, the Beijing Municipal Sports Bureau and the Beijing Municipal Government Employees' Trade Union were also present as specially invited guests.

The sports meet was meticulously prepared over a period of more than six months. Eleven events were organized across three categories—individual, team and recreational events—bringing together athletic competition, fun and teamwork. Organizations across the system actively participated, prepared thoroughly and trained intensively, organizing a wide range of sports activities and generating strong enthusiasm for fitness among employees. Throughout the competitions, participants competed with determination and gave their best effort. They strengthened communication through competition and built friendships through teamwork, further reinforcing the foundation for coordination and collaboration across the health and healthcare system.

After a series of intense and exciting competitions, all events concluded successfully. Beijing Tongren Hospital, Peking University Third Hospital and Beijing Jishuitan Hospital won first prizes in the overall team standings. The organizing committee held a formal awards ceremony to honor the winning individuals and teams in the various events and categories.

The sports meet was not only an important initiative to promote healthy and civilized lifestyles and advance the national fitness strategy, but also an important platform for the health and healthcare system across Beijing to showcase its spirit, strengthen communication and collaboration, and build collective strength. Going forward, the Trade Union of the Beijing Municipal Health Commission will continue to organize regular nationwide fitness activities, expand their reach and coverage, and encourage officials and employees to contribute to the high-quality development of Beijing's health and healthcare sector during the 15th Five-Year Plan period.
