From April 24 to 25, 2026, the 7th National Healthcare Industry Cybersecurity Skills Competition was held in Zhuhai, Guangdong. Thanks to their outstanding performance, the Beijing CDC Team won the national second prize, achieving another remarkable result.

The competition is one of the most prestigious, professional, and widely participated cybersecurity events in China’s healthcare sector. The four members of the Beijing CDC Team — Huang Jiaxin, Ji Ran, Guo Wenzhang, and Song Ge — are all from the Beijing Center for Disease Prevention and Control. The team leader was Tong Chao from the Health Management Division of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Disease Control and Prevention. During the preparation period, all team members worked closely together and devoted themselves to intensive study and practice. Relying on their solid professional expertise, they successfully advanced through the selection competition organized by the Beijing Municipal Health Commission and earned a place in the national finals. Facing 200 elite teams from across the country, the Beijing CDC Team remained calm and composed under the overall coordination and careful guidance of the Beijing Municipal Health Commission. After seven hours of intense competition, the team ultimately achieved an excellent result, ranking eighth nationwide and winning the second prize.

Moving forward, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Disease Control and Prevention and the Beijing Center for Disease Prevention and Control will take this achievement as an opportunity to further strengthen the development of cybersecurity talent, reinforce the cybersecurity defenses of the public health system, and safeguard the high-quality development of the capital’s healthcare sector.
