To thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the guiding principles of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, fully implement the Opinions of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee on Strengthening Youth League Building, continuously strengthen the development of Youth League cadres in the capital’s health sector, enhance their political awareness and professional capacity in Youth League work, and promote exchanges within the industry, the Youth League Committee of the Beijing Municipal Health Commission organized the 2026 Training Program for Youth League Cadres in the Beijing health sector from April 8 to 10. More than 120 Youth League secretaries from district-level health commissions, tertiary hospitals, district-affiliated secondary hospitals, and directly affiliated institutions participated in the program. Xu Changshun, Second-level Inspector of the Beijing Municipal Health Commission, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a mobilization speech.

The training adopted an in-person, closed-session format with a well-designed curriculum that included thematic lectures, group discussions, case-sharing sessions, on-site learning, and exchange competitions. Experts and scholars from institutions such as the Central Party School, the Central Youth League School, the Communist Youth League Central Committee, and the Party School of the Beijing Municipal Health Commission were invited to give lectures. The course content closely aligned with industry development and practical Youth League work, focusing on key topics such as establishing and practicing a sound view of political performance, General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important statements on the Healthy China initiative, interpretation of the Opinions on Strengthening Party Building to Lead Youth League Building, and foundational Youth League affairs. In addition, participants engaged in case-sharing on “how to build outstanding Youth Civilization Units,” group discussions on Selected Excerpts of Xi Jinping’s Discourses on Healthy China, and on-site red education activities at Shuangqing Villa. These activities promoted deep integration of theoretical learning with practical exchange, as well as mutual reinforcement of ideological refinement and capacity building.

During the training, all participants strictly observed discipline and actively engaged in learning and discussion. They conducted in-depth exchanges on topics such as Party building leading Youth League development, creation of Youth Civilization Units, volunteer services, and effective performance of Youth League cadres, sharing experiences and exploring solutions to practical challenges. Participants noted that the program was content-rich and highly relevant, helping to consolidate their theoretical foundation, enhance practical capabilities, and strengthen their sense of mission. Moving forward, they will translate what they have learned into concrete actions, stay committed to their positions, uphold a sound view of political performance, and carry out Youth League work with more solid efforts and stronger measures. They will inspire young people in the capital’s health sector to take responsibility and work diligently, contributing to high-quality development in the health sector and writing a new chapter of youth achievement.
