Beijing Municipal Health Commission Convenes Meeting to Deploy Public Health Emergency Response and Pre-Holiday Arrangements

On December 25, 2025, the Beijing Municipal Health Commission convened a meeting to deploy public health emergency response and pre-holiday arrangements. More than 650 officials in charge from district health commissions and relevant medical and health institutions attended the meeting both online and offline.

The meeting conveyed the Notice of the General Office of the National Health Commission on Strengthening Prevention and Response to Low-Temperature, Rain, Snow, and Ice Disasters During the Winter of 2025–2026, as well as the Notice of the General Offices of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on Arrangements for Work During the 2026 New Year’s Day and Spring Festival. The meeting highlighted key requirements for public health emergency preparedness and response, and emphasized the importance of strengthening public health emergency work during the 2026 New Year’s Day and Spring Festival period to ensure public safety throughout the holidays.

The meeting required all units to raise political awareness, strengthen organizational leadership, refine work procedures, enhance implementation, strictly enforce duty and on-call systems, maintain smooth communication, and respond promptly to emergencies, so as to ensure the safe and orderly operation of public health emergency management in the capital during the holiday period.
