In the golden autumn of September, with a pleasant breeze in the air, the 2025 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) opened as scheduled. On September 12, the Department of Retired Cadres and the Department of International Cooperation of the Municipal Health Commission jointly organized a group of 50 retired officials from the Commission system to visit the “Health and Medical Services” exhibition area at Shougang Park. With the annual theme of “Smart Innovation for a Healthy Future”, the exhibition showcased a wide range of cutting-edge health technologies and service achievements, offering the retired officials an immersive experience of the vitality and innovation in the health sector.

In the two major exhibition areas—“Foresight Matrix of Intelligent Therapeutic Cloud Hub” and “Universal Health Service Matrix”—the retired officials, guided by docents, engaged with various devices with great interest. They inquired about their functions and application scenarios, learned about breakthroughs in intelligent photon CT for precision imaging, observed dynamic demonstrations of micron-level surgical robots, and explored new AI-powered medical technologies and products such as AI health services and AI-based Traditional Chinese Medicine clinics. Throughout the visit, the retired officials frequently exchanged views with the docents and staff, showing keen curiosity and reflection on everything from technical principles to practical applications, from current outcomes to future prospects.

After the visit, the retired officials spoke highly of the event. They praised the meticulous preparation, well-organized schedule, and thoughtful services provided by the staff, which made them feel warmly cared for. They unanimously agreed that the visit not only introduced them to world-class health technologies but also allowed them to witness the people-centered benefits these achievements bring. The experience has raised their expectations for a healthier future. They expressed their commitment to continue supporting the work of the Municipal Health Commission, contributing their wisdom and strength as senior citizens to the development of public health.
