From:Beijing Municipal Health Commission
Date:06/17/2025

During the 2025 National College Entrance Examination (Gaokao), the Beijing health system fully implemented the Ministry of Education’s “2025 Gaokao Support Action Plan”, organizing comprehensive health protection to safeguard candidates' well-being.

Prior to the exams, the Beijing Municipal Health Commission developed a detailed support plan and clarified operational requirements. District-level authorities deployed appropriate personnel and resources, including ambulance dispatch, on-site medical patrols, designated hospitals, and emergency response preparations. Beijing Emergency Medical Center established a dedicated examination support desk, conducted comprehensive checks on emergency medicines, medical equipment, and ambulances to ensure full readiness. The Beijing Center for Disease Prevention and Control worked with the education department to implement public health measures at exam sites, while Beijing Huilongguan Hospital offered mental health counseling via its psychological support hotline

From June 7 to 10, over 50 emergency management officials remained on duty daily across the city. Around 60 ambulances and more than 200 emergency medical personnel were mobilized specifically for Gaokao support. Green channels were opened in designated hospitals, with reserved beds and on-call medical experts available. Health authorities collaborated closely with the education, public security, and transportation departments to ensure rapid and effective responses to any emergencies.

During the exam period, Beijing Emergency Medical Center received two Gaokao-related calls via its dedicated support line, dispatched ambulances twice, and handled all situations smoothly and effectively, successfully concluding the 2025 Gaokao health and medical support mission.
