Recently, the 2024 Capital University Blood Donation Work Conference was successfully convened. Over 50 representatives attended the meeting, including members from the Medical Emergency Department of the Beijing Municipal Health Commission, the Municipal Blood Donation Office, the Municipal Blood Donation Work Organization, various blood stations, and university officials responsible for blood donation initiatives.

The participants engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions on strategies to further enhance the coordination mechanisms of blood donation efforts in the capital’s universities, optimize the blood donation process, promote campus visits by blood donation vehicles, and increase the enthusiasm of teachers and students to participate in blood donation activities.

During the conference, universities that actively contributed to the public welfare of voluntary blood donation were recognized and commended. The following ten universities were awarded the title of "Top Ten Outstanding Contribution Universities in Capital Blood Donation" for 2024, including Tsinghua University, Peking University, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Beijing University of Science and Technology, North China Electric Power University, Central University of Finance and Economics, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Beijing Union University, North China University of Technology, and Capital University of Economics and Business. Additionally, the People's Public Security University of China and the China University of Petroleum (Beijing) received the "Special Contribution Universities in Capital Blood Donation" award for 2024.
