To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of New China and promote the "Healthy Beijing" construction, the 8th health walk event of the Labor Union of the Beijing Municipal Health Commission was held at the Nanhaizi Park (2ndphase) on the morning of September 20.

The theme of this event is "United Efforts for 75 years of Glorious Health Journey", which is one of the series activities of the commission labor union this year to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of New China. Chang Jingtao, the second-level inspector of the Party Committee of the Directly Affiliated Organs of the National Health Commission and the executive vice chairman of the labor union of the Directly Affiliated Organs, Lang Peijian, the director of the Health and Sports Department of the China Federation of Labor Unions of Education, Science, Culture, Health and Sports, Liao Zhihua, the second-level inspector of the Municipal Federation of Labor Unions, and Deng Pingji, the deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Health Commission, attended the launching ceremony. More than 800 cadres and employees from 66 units including the National Health Commission, the China Federation of Labor Unions of Education, Science, Culture, Health and Sports, the Municipal Federation of Labor Unions, medical institutions in Beijing, the Municipal Health Commission system and the health commissions of various districts of Beijing participated in the event.

At the launching ceremony, Deng Pingji expressed his greetings to the employees participating in the event on behalf of the Party Committee of the Municipal Health Commission, hoping that they would actively promote a healthy lifestyle, and they would be guided by the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20thCPC Central Committee and focus on people's health in the process of strengthening their health, to contribute to the high-quality development of the health undertakings in Beijing.

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of New China and show the good spirit of cadres and employees in the health system, the commission labor union designed 5 check-in links, showing the good wishes for the birthday of the motherland. Although it was raining lightly, the participants was in good spirits and started the health walk with the exciting command gunshot. The personalized fitness needs were met for the two groups of employees in 7.5 kilometers route and 12.5 kilometers route. All along, the commission labor union has actively built a platform and made the health walk one of the brand activities that is popular in the employees.
