In order to ensure the influenza vaccination work in 2024, theBeijing Center for Disease Prevention and Control, together with the Municipal Health Commission, Municipal Education Commission, Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau, held a deployment and training meeting for the influenza vaccination in 2024 in Beijing recently. More than 120 people, including responsible persons in charge of offices of relevant municipal departments, responsible persons in relevant departments of the district education commissions, responsible persons in charge of relevant work and responsible staff of relevant departments of technical schools, and leaders in charge of relevant departments of the district disease control bureaus, district health commissions, and district CDCs, attended the meeting. The leader in charge of the Beijing Center for Disease Prevention and Control attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

The influenza vaccination work in 2024 in Beijing was deployed at the meeting. Various tasks such as influenza vaccination in primary and secondary schools and technical schools were emphasized, and the business training on influenza vaccination in 2024 was carried out. The Beijing Center for Disease Prevention and Control required all districts to strengthen overall coordination and inter-departmental linkage, and do a good job in setting up influenza vaccination clinics, publicizing information, and making appointments for vaccination, so as to improve the vaccination convenience. In addition, it is necessary to optimize vaccination services to further enhance the sense of gain of the people.

The influenza vaccination work this year will officially start in early September.
