Beijing Municipal Bureau of Disease Control and Prevention Comprehensively Deployed Pilot Work of Disease Control Supervisor System for Medical Institutions from 2024 to 2025

On August 27, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Disease Control and Prevention organized a deployment meeting for the pilot work of the disease control supervisor system for medical institutions from 2024 to 2025.

A detailed interpretation and arrangement of the "Pilot Work Plan for the Disease Control Supervisor System for Medical Institutions in Beijing from 2024 to 2025" was put forward at the meeting in terms of the working background, overall requirements, main tasks, and work arrangements of the pilot work of the disease control supervisor system. Representatives of the three pilot districts of Dongcheng, Chaoyang, and Shunyi, as well as the Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Ditan Hospital, and the Haidian and Tongzhou District Disease Control Bureaus made statements respectively.

It was emphasized at the meeting that exploring the establishment of a disease control supervisor system is a major deployment of the Party Central Committee to deepen the reform of the disease control system and is a powerful tool for innovating the medicine and prevention coordination and integration mechanism and improving the public health system. All units at all levels should strengthen organizational leadership and responsibility, improve work mechanisms, broaden ideas, actively explore, and complete the pilot work tasks of the disease control supervisor system in medical institutions in Beijing with high quality.

It was required at the meeting that in promoting the pilot work of the disease control supervisor system in medical institutions, all units at all levels should strengthen ideological awareness, improve political stance, and accurately grasp the work requirements. We should focus on work models and results orientation, and improve work effectiveness, to create Beijing’s experience. We should focus on solving core issues such as "where do people come from, how to do things, and how to manage well" to ensure that all tasks of the pilot work are implemented effectively.

Beijing Municipal Health Commission, Beijing Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Beijing Municipal Disease Control Bureau, Beijing Center for Disease Control, Ditan Hospital, Health Commissions and Disease Control Bureaus of each district, Social Affairs Bureau of Economic Development Zone, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Health Supervision Institutes of each district.
