Municipal Health Commission Organized the 11th Work Promotion Meeting on Immediate Complaint Handling in 2023

On November 17, 2023, the Municipal Health Commission organized the 11th Work Promotion Meeting on Immediate Complaint Handling in 2023. Zhong Dongbo, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Municipal Health Commission, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Leaders and heads of departments of the one committee and three bureaus of the Municipal Health Commission, and main leaders, leaders in charge, and heads of responsible departments of the district health commissions and medical and health institutions attended the meeting. Liu Juncai, Director of the Municipal Health Commission, presided over the meeting and put forward requirements for practically strengthening and improving the work on immediate complaint handling and security.

At the meeting, Wang Jianhui, member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Commission, reported the assessment results, the "three rates", of the immediate complaints handling of the system in October 2023 and gave work reminders. Li Ang, member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Commission, reported on the 5th special inspection of the immediate complaints handling. The leaders of Majiabao Community Health Service Center shared their experience in solving management problems of community health service institutions. The leaders of Chaoyang District Health Commission and Friendship Hospital introduced their experience in immediate complaint handling. The leaders of the Beijing Center for Disease Control and Prevention spoke on continuously strengthening and improving the work on immediate complaints handling.

It was required at the meeting that the entire system should thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. Closely focusing on the development need, the urgent reform, the expectations of the grassroots, and the will of the people, it is required to continue to work hard, and make every effort to meet and guarantee the needs of the people for the health work in Beijing. We must improve our position, redouble our efforts, and play the role of handling complaints immediately and resolving people's concerns. We should focus on problems, continue to make progress, and improve the original resolution rate, control the increase in complaints, and reduce the stock of historical problems through comprehensive measures such as policy adjustment, system design, resource allocation, and strict management. It is necessary to have a policy for each complaint, improve quality and increase funding, and work hard in empathy, efficient solutions, innovative concepts, sound mechanisms, and strengthened assessments. We should strengthen overall planning, focusing on key tasks such as production safety, fire safety, hospital safety and order management, to ensure the safety and stability of the system.
