On March 15, the Municipal Health Commission and the Municipal Public Health Standards Committee held a training meeting on local health standards for new projects in 2024. Representatives from the preparation units that have been approved for projects, those in the process of formulation and revision, and member units of the public health standardization professional committee, a total of more than 100 people participated in the meeting.

At the meeting, the relevant person in charge of the Standardization Department of the Municipal Market Supervision Bureau interpreted the newly revised "Beijing Local Standards Management Measures" and put forward specific requirements for the future health standardization work in Beijing. Standardization experts gave special lectures on the main problems existing in the formulation and revision of local standards. The Policy and Regulations Department of the Municipal Health Commission has provided classified guidance for 19 projects approved in 2023 and 23 projects currently in the process of formulation and revision, requiring all local standard preparation units to strictly follow the time limits of the "Beijing Local Standards Management Measures" on work plans. The progress of various projects should be accelerated, and all formulation and revision work should be completed as scheduled.
