Wang Xiaoe, member of the Party Committee of the Municipal Health Commission, Executive Deputy Director of the Municipal Office for the Ageing, Secretary of the Party Committee, President and First-level Inspector of the Municipal Association for the Ageing, attended and spoke at the meeting.

The summary video of the Health Publicity Work of Beijing in 2022 was played at the meeting. Four units, including Changping District Health Commission, China-Japan Friendship Hospital, Beijing Ditan Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University, and Beijing Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention, exchanged their publicity work experience.

In her speech, Wang Xiaoe reviewed the health promotion work of Beijing in 2022. In addition, three requirements were put forward for doing a good job in publicity work in 2023. First, the work should be based on the new era and new journey and focusing on the new task of health promotion. The second is to implement the new development concept and build a good five major publicity patterns of better and more solid health work. The third is to strengthen the political position and speed up and improve the efficiency of health publicity work. She stressed that 2023 is the first year to fully implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. It is necessary to do a good job in health publicity in 2023 in accordance with the deployment requirements of the National Health Commission and the publicity ministerial meeting of Beijing, to create a good social atmosphere for the high-quality development of the health undertakings in Beijing.

The meeting was attended by the health commissions of all districts, the Social Affairs Bureau of the Economic and Development District, the Beijing Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Beijing Hospitals Authority, the Municipal Association for the Ageing, the leaders in charge of publicity work and the heads of publicity departments of all tertiary hospitals and municipal directly subordinate units, and the heads of various departments and offices of the committee organs.
