From July 7th to 8th, 2022, the meeting for retired cadres work and staff training of Beijing Municipal Health System was held in the form of video conference, to implement the work arrangements of the Municipal Party Committee Retired Cadre Bureau and the Working Committee of the Municipal Organizations and the work requirements of the working committee of the Municipal Health Commission Party Committee, and promote the work of retired cadres of the system to reach a new level. Wang Xiaoe, member of the Party Committee of the Municipal Health Commission, Executive Deputy Director of the Municipal Aging Office, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Municipal Aging Association, and Li Chunyu, Director of the Retired Cadre Division of the Working Committee of the Municipal Organizations attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Peng Yingzi, Director of the Retired Cadre Division, presided over the meeting and made a work report. More than 90 people attended the meeting, including supervisors, retired cadres and staff of all units in the health system,.

The work of retired cadres in the system in 2021 was summarized and key tasks in 2022 were deployed at the meeting. Representatives from Beijing Youan Hospital, Beijing Chest Hospital, Beijing Emergency Center, Beijing Chaoyang Hospital, and Beijing Anzhen Hospital introduced their experience and demonstrated their results and practices of retired cadres work of the health system in terms of strengthening the leadership of party building, serving with sincerity, adhering to integrity and innovation, and implementing precise concepts. 

Li Chunyu spoke highly of the tireless and silent efforts of the workers for the retired cadres in the municipal health system. While congratulating the Retired Cadres Division of the Municipal Health Commission for winning the title of "National Advanced Group for Retired Cadre Work", in the face of the new situation, requirements and challenges in the new era, and the new expectations of the retired cadres, Li Chunyu summarized the 123456 work method, which is clear in logic and closely linked to practice, broadening the thinking and providing guidance for the retired cadres work.

Wang Xiaoe said that the video work meeting has shortened the long distance between various units. For the Retired Cadres Division of the Beijing Municipal Health Commission winning the title of "National Advanced Group for Retired Cadre Work", she thanked the Retired Cadre Bureau of the Municipal Party Committee and the Working Committee of the Municipal Organizations for the strong guidance and the great support of the retired cadre departments of the units and the retired cadres of the system. The health system is the backbone of epidemic prevention and control. We must focus on practical problems, do our best to help solve problems, pay attention to the health of the retired staff in the commission, actively vaccinate, to play an exemplary role, and build an immune barrier together.

Professor Liu Fang, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Capital Medical University, combined with the wrong trend of thought in recent years, profoundly explained the situation and challenges of the ideological work, and raised the understanding of the importance of the ideological work. Researcher Hu Min from the Central Party School focused on three aspects, namely "historical wisdom, historical initiative, and new great achievements", interpreted the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in a simple way, helping the attendees to learn, understand and think deeply. Professor Wang Baofu from the National Defense University took the overall national security concept as the theme, kept up with current affairs, scientifically analyzed the international security situation and the response strategies of China, and gave a lively and exciting national security education lecture.

The theme of this training is clear and the content is solid. It adopted various methods such as summary and deployment, experience introduction, special counseling, exchange of experience, and online question answering. It achieved the combination of process evaluation and result evaluation, and focused on the coordination of theory and practice.
