On May 31, the Municipal Office of Patriotic Health Movement, the Municipal Health Commission, and the Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention organized the 35th World No Tobacco Day publicity event with a theme of "Tobacco Control Actions for a More Healthy Environment".

During the event, the volunteers of the Healthy Run for Tobacco Control learned the hand gestures of smoking control, the slogan of the 5.31 healthy run, and ran along the route portraying the no-smoking sign in Beijing. They practiced a healthy and civilized lifestyle with practical actions, and created a good social atmosphere for the World No Tobacco Day in 2022.

In the near future, all the districts in Beijing will organize tobacco control running activities successively to motivate the general public to control tobacco and run for health. Tobacco control publicity will continue to be carried out throughout the city to further strengthen citizens' awareness of first responsible person for tobacco control related law compliance and their health.
