On January 19, 2022, "Summary and Unveiling Activity of Construction Project on Neurological Center, China-Guinea Friendship Hospital" was held in China-Guinea Friendship Hospital. He Zhaohua, deputy director and a first-level inspector of the International Cooperation Department of the National Health Commission, and Zheng Jinpu, a second-level inspector of the Beijing Municipal Health Commission, attended the event online and delivered speeches at the venue of Xuanwu Hospital of Capital Medical University. More than 60 health-related managers and experts from China and Guinea attended the activity.

In his speech, Ambassador Huang Wei spoke highly of the significant contribution made by the Chinese medical aiding team for Guinea in improving the medical and health level of Guinea and deepening the friendship between the people of China and Guinea. He expressed his anticipation to the Neurological Center in providing Guinea with more advanced diagnostic techniques and better medical services.

On behalf of the Guinean government, Director Sall expressed his sincere gratitude to the Chinese government and people for their selfless help in promoting the development of Guinean medical care and improving the health of Guinean people, and paid high tribute to the 28th Chinese medical aiding team for Guinea.

Deputy Director He Zhaohua fully affirmed the remarkable achievements made by the Beijing Municipal Health Commission in the implementation of the "Pilot Project of China-Africa Friendship Hospital Construction", and hoped that China and Guinea will continue to work together in the future to practice the shared destiny of China and Africa in the new era with practical actions.

Second-level Inspector Zheng Jinpu said that the unveiling of the three institutions including the Neurological Center of the China-Guinea Friendship Hospital is a vivid practice of the China-Africa Friendship Hospital construction project benefiting the Guinean people, and will surely become a high-level platform linking medical technology and medical resources between Beijing and Guinea.

At the event, the Chinese side also donated neurological medicines and equipment valued more than 4.5 million yuan to the China-Guinea Friendship Hospital, and presented a series of manuals on hospital management and diagnosis and treatment. Guinea National Television and other mainstream media reported the unveiling ceremony on the spot.

In 2019, the Beijing Municipal Health Commission and Guinea jointly launched the "Pilot project of China-Africa Friendship Hospital Construction". In the past three years, the continuous growth and development of the Neurological Center has driven the comprehensive development of related disciplines in the China-Guinea Friendship Hospital, realizing the vision of "Neuromedicine, acute and critical care, trauma and other professional treatments provided within Guinea". A new model of aided hospitals that has long-term influence and can be promoted and used for reference is being formed.
