From March 25th to 26th, 2021, the Beijing Municipal Health Commission organized a work meeting for retired cadres and a staff training meeting. Wang Xiaoe, member of the Party Committee of the Municipal Health Commission, Executive Deputy Director of the Municipal Office of Aging, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Municipal Aging Association, and Li Chunyu, Director of the Retired Cadres Office of the Municipal Party Work Committee attended the meeting and delivered speeches. More than 90 related leaders and retired cadres and staff from all units of the health system attended the meeting.

The work of retired cadres in the health system in 2020 was summarized and the key tasks in 2021 were deployed at the meeting. Yang Fude, Party Secretary of Beijing Huilongguan Hospital, Cui Ruohong, leader of the Labor Union of Beijing Ditan Hospital, Jiang Donglan, Party Secretary of Beijing Blood Center, Yin Jinshu, Vice President of Beijing Shijitan Hospital, Liu Yan, Party Secretary of Beijing Tongren Hospital, Zhang Cuixiang, Party Secretary of Beijing Geriatric Hospital, and Li Yanhong Secretary of the Disciplinary Committee of Beijing Friendship Hospital, and others leaders delivered speeches on their related experience.

This training was carried out by methods of summarizing and deploying work, introducing conference experience, special tutoring by professors, education on Party themed film, group seminars and exchanges, etc. The meeting was rich in content with a distinct theme, a curriculum in line with the situation, wonderful teaching and guidance, and sufficient exchanges and mutual learning, and was widely praised by the attendees. They said that they must fully comprehend the wisdom and strength of the century-long history of the Party, adhere to innovation and seize opportunities, forge ahead and open up new situations, go all out to do a good job for retired cadres, and promote the high-quality development of the health care industry in Beijing to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the party with fruitful achievements.
