Date:12/14/2020

On December 9, the launch ceremony of the "China-Israel Emergency First Aid Training Center" was successfully held in Beijing Friendship Hospital. He Zewei, the ambassador of the Israeli Embassy in China, Zhao Jing, deputy director of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and Zheng Jinpu, the second-level inspector of the Beijing Municipal Health Commission attended the launching ceremony and jointly unveiled the training center.

At the launching ceremony, Ambassador He Zewei and Xin Youqing, secretary of the Party Committee of Beijing Friendship Hospital, jointly signed the China-Israel Emergency Training Center Cooperation Agreement. The center will be dedicated to cultivating management talents and technical backbones in the field of emergency first aid for Beijing and China, promote the construction of emergency medical rescue teams, and improve the city's emergency response capabilities.

Israel has rich experience and a mature system in responding to major disasters, accidents and health emergencies, and has the world's first emergency rescue international medical team that has obtained the highest level of World Health Organization certification. Beijing Friendship Hospital is the first large-scale general hospital established after the founding of the People’s Republic of China. It has rich experience and a good foundation in emergency and first aid. The “one-stop” service model that has been established by the hospital played a positive role in promoting the development of emergency medicine in the capital and even the whole country. The formal establishment of this collaboration model of "alliance between giants" will become a milestone in the deep integration and innovative development of China-Israel medical emergency services.
