At the afternoon February 1, Beijing Vice Mayor Lu Yan visited 999 Xuanwu Traffic Detachment First Aid Station and Beijing First Aid Center (120) to greet the pre-hospital forefront grassroots. Mr. Lu checked and asked about the working environment, drug and supply reserve and living guarantee as well as of the work preparation for the coming spring festival of the first aid station in great details. He affirmed and appreciated the hard-working endeavor made by the grassroots.

At the end of the greeting, Mr. Lu chaired the symposium for building Beijing pre-hospital first aid system, studied the concerned suggestions from the following three municipal people’s congress representatives: Liu Xuefeng, Zhang Xiaoyan and Wang Liying. The symposium listened to the advice from the Representative Liu Xuefeng on building the Beijing pre-hospital first aid system. Mr. Lu fully affirmed the working spirits of the said three representatives and extended his sincere gratitude.

It was decided during the symposium to come up with the concrete scheme for the said work by the end of this February as being led by Beijing Municipal Health Commission and coordinated by the competent departments.

The greeting and symposium were attended by Beijing Municipal Vice Secretary Chen Bei, chief and managing directors from the Beijing Municipal Health Commission and Beijing Red Cross Society.
