On the afternoon of October 21, the Municipal Health Commission organized the Beijing Emergency Center, five district health commissions of Dongcheng, Chaoyang, Fengtai, Fangshan and Tongzhou and pre-hospital emergency service agencies to convene a seminar on the basic standards and performance evaluation indicators of the pre-hospital medical emergency workstations.
Participants of the seminar highly recognized the development of the basic standard work of the pre-hospital medical emergency workstations in Beijing, and discussed the annual evaluation indicators and reached the following consensus. The first is to further refine the use of emergency workstations, to verify some terminology, the sign provider of the emergency workstations and standardized station name, to strengthen the internal management of the workstations, and other basic standards related to the pre-hospital medical emergency workstation. The second is to clarify the average response time for pre-hospital medical emergency services, reception rate of the first-aid calls, ambulance configuration, district-level medical protective material reserve and concepts and calculation methods of other relevant annual evaluation indicators.
It was required at the seminar that the pre-hospital medical emergency system in Beijing should firmly establish a people-centered development concept, fully realize the standardized construction and standardized management of the system, and continuously improve the capabilities and quality of pre-hospital medical emergency services.
