The team went to Dongxiaokou Community Health Service Center for  research

　　The research team had a discussion with grassroots health workers

　　On August 18, 2020, on the occasion of the third "Chinese Physician's Day",  Director Nie Chunlei, the grassroots department of the National Health  Commission, and his delegation visited the grassroots health work in Beijing and  expressed their respect to the grassroots health workers.

　　The team went to the Dongxiaokou Community Health Service Center of  "Huitian area" in Changping District in Beijing for research. The center covers  a floor area of 12,701 square meters, and has 226 employees on duty. It serves  38 neighborhood committees in 12 villages in 2 sub-districts of 1 town, with a  population of 341,000. The research team visited the fever screening points,  preventive health department, child vaccination clinic, general clinic,  emergency department, and kidney dialysis ward of the institutions. 　　Director Nie Chunlei affirmed that Beijing's grassroots health workers have  played an important role in the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic.  On the third "Chinese Physician's Day", he expressed his heartfelt thanks to the  grassroots health workers and wished everyone a happy holiday. It is hoped that  Beijing will continue to do a good job in normalizing the epidemic prevention  and control, continuously improve grassroots service capabilities, and promote  the sustainable development of Beijing's grassroots health care.
