Residents are reminded to take the following precautions: First, strengthen personal protection awareness. Adjust clothing according to weather changes, take appropriate personal protective measures, wear masks properly in crowded places such as public transportation and tourist attractions, and maintain good hand hygiene. Second, pay attention to food safety. Keep raw and cooked foods separate during preparation, and cook food thoroughly. Avoid raw, cold, or unhygienic food, and do not drink untreated water. When dining out, choose reputable restaurants and consider using serving chopsticks or opting for individual portions. Third, maintain a clean environment. Open windows regularly to improve indoor ventilation. Clean and disinfect floors, tabletops, and other frequently touched surfaces on a regular basis, and keep living spaces clean and tidy. Fourth, monitor health conditions. Pay close attention to your own health and that of your family members. If symptoms such as fever, headache, or diarrhea occur, seek medical attention promptly as appropriate and reduce participation in group activities. Childcare facilities, schools, and other institutions should implement systems for morning and afternoon health checks and registration of absences due to illness. Fifth, get vaccinated in a timely manner. Residents who meet the eligibility requirements are encouraged to get vaccinated against influenza, pneumococcal disease, and other illnesses.
