2. Health Tips
As spring transitions into summer, temperatures continue to rise, and increased gatherings and outdoor activities have led to a higher risk of intestinal and vector-borne infectious diseases. We would like to remind all residents to take the following precautions:
1. Develop good dietary habits.Food should be thoroughly cooked before consumption. Raw and cooked foods should be prepared with separate utensils. Leftover food should be properly stored and reheated thoroughly before eating. When engaging in outdoor activities, do not pick or consume wild mushrooms, wild vegetables, or wild fruits. 2. Maintain a clean and hygienic living environment.Open windows daily for ventilation. Regularly disinfect and clean floors, tables, and other frequently touched surfaces. Dispose of household garbage and kitchen waste promptly, and keep indoor areas dry and tidy to reduce mosquito breeding. 3. Take personal protective measures when going out. When visiting enclosed spaces, crowded places, or taking public transportation, wearing a mask properly is recommended. During outdoor activities, avoid staying for long periods in dark and damp areas such as grasslands or under trees. It is advisable to wear light-colored long-sleeved clothing and long pants, and apply insect repellent to exposed skin to reduce the risk of tick and other insect bites. 4. Strengthen self-health monitoring. After outings or travel, closely monitor your own health and that of your family members. If symptoms such as fever, cough, diarrhea, or vomiting occur, seek medical attention promptly according to the severity of the illness, and proactively inform medical personnel of any contact history or travel history. Avoid going to work, school, or participating in gatherings while ill.
