2. Health Tips
As the Spring Festival holiday approaches, population movement and gatherings will increase, raising the risk of respiratory infectious diseases. We would like to remind all residents of the following: First, take protective measures when traveling. Adjust your clothing according to the weather to avoid catching a cold. When visiting crowded places such as railway stations, airports, and shopping malls, it is recommended to wear a mask properly and maintain a safe social distance. Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing, and wash your hands promptly. Second, pay attention to food hygiene. Handle raw and cooked food separately. Do not drink untreated water, and avoid consuming raw, cold, or contaminated food. When dining out, choose licensed restaurants with clean environments. During group meals, use serving chopsticks or adopt a separate dining system. Third, keep your living environment clean. Ventilate rooms daily according to weather conditions to ensure good indoor air circulation. Clean floors and dispose of garbage in a timely manner. Regularly disinfect frequently touched items such as door handles, toys, and furniture. Fourth, strengthen health monitoring. Before traveling, stay informed about the prevalence of infectious diseases at your destination and take appropriate precautions. During and after your trip, closely monitor your own and your family members’ health. If symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, or diarrhea occur, stay at home to rest, monitor your condition, seek medical attention promptly if necessary, and proactively inform healthcare providers of your recent travel history. Fifth, promote a healthy lifestyle. Maintain a balanced diet, regular routine, and positive mental well-being. Engage in moderate exercise to enhance your immunity.
