2. Health Tips

With rising temperatures and increased outdoor gatherings and activities during the transition period of spring and summer, intestinal infectious diseases are entering a high-incidence period. We kindly remind all citizens to take the following precautions: 1. Pay attention to food and water safety. Eat thoroughly cooked food and drink boiled or bottled water. Avoid consuming spoiled or unhygienic food. When dining with others, use serving chopsticks and spoons or adopt a separate dining system to reduce the risk of cross-infection. 2. Maintain a clean and well-ventilated environment. At home, in schools, and in childcare institutions, it is necessary to open windows appropriately based on the weather. It is recommended to ventilate 2 to 3 times a day, for about 30 minutes each time. 3. Strengthen personal hygiene and protection. In enclosed spaces, crowded areas, or when using public transportation, wear a mask properly. Maintain good hand hygiene—wash hands before meals, after using the toilet, and after returning from outside. Avoid touching your mouth, eyes, and nose with unwashed hands. 4. Monitor your health closely. Pay attention to your own and your family's health. If symptoms such as fever, diarrhea, or vomiting occur, seek medical attention promptly and inform any recent contact or travel history. 5. Maintain good hygiene habits. Before traveling, check for infectious disease outbreaks at your destination. When engaging in outdoor activities, avoid prolonged sitting or lying on grass or in wooded areas, and take measures to prevent tick bites. Avoid entering habitats of wild birds or animals, and do not touch or eat wild animals.
