2. Health Tips

As March marks the transition from winter to spring, the significant temperature difference between morning and evening increases the risk of respiratory and intestinal infectious diseases. Considering this, we offer the following health reminders to all citizens. Firstly, enhance personal health protection. When in enclosed spaces, crowded areas, or using public transportation, wear a mask properly and maintain social distancing. Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue or your elbow when coughing or sneezing, and wash your hands frequently. Secondly, monitor your health closely. If you experience symptoms such as fever or diarrhea, stay at home to rest, keep track of any changes in your condition, and seek medical attention as soon as possible. Thirdly, strengthen preventive measures in key facilities. Nurseries, schools, nursing homes, and social welfare institutions should reinforce internal management, ensure daily protective measures and health monitoring, implement morning and midday health checks, provide health education, conduct environmental disinfection, and maintain records of illness-related absences to prevent outbreaks of infectious diseases. Fourthly, continue with necessary vaccinations. Elderly individuals, patients with underlying health conditions, and other high-risk groups are encouraged to get vaccinated according to public health guidelines. Children should receive vaccinations on time following the recommended immunization schedule. Fifth, adopt a healthy lifestyle. Maintain good indoor ventilation, separate raw and cooked food during meal preparation, avoid consuming spoiled or raw food, refrain from drinking untreated water, maintain a balanced diet, engage in moderate exercise, and follow a regular sleep schedule to strengthen immunity.
