2. Health Tips

As winter brings colder weather, the prevalence of respiratory infectious diseases increases. To help the public stay safe and healthy, here are some key recommendations.1. Take Personal Protection. Be the first guardian of your own health by enhancing your awareness of self-protection. Practice proper hand hygiene, wear masks correctly, and get vaccinated proactively. Avoid close contact with individuals showing symptoms of infectious diseases. Refrain from contact with wild or unfamiliar rodents, monkeys, apes, and other primates in daily life. 2. Monitor Your Health. When traveling during the holidays, stay informed about the prevalence of key infectious diseases at your destination. Conduct health monitoring before, during, and after your trip. Take the initiative to declare your health status when entering or exiting the country and cooperate with customs for health quarantines. 3. Seek Prompt and Scientific Medical Attention. If you experience symptoms such as fever, cough, rash, swollen lymph nodes, or diarrhea, seek medical attention promptly based on the progression of your illness. Inform the doctors of any recent travel history—domestic or international—and any contact with suspected infectious patients. Cooperate actively with medical institutions in their diagnostic, treatment, investigation and disease control measures. 4. Schools, nursing homes, medical facilities, transportation hubs, malls and supermarkets, farmers' markets, hotels, cultural venues, and other crowded locations should promote publication and education on infectious disease prevention and control. It is essential to implement health management and disease reporting systems rigorously. Ensure thorough environmental cleaning and disinfection, proper ventilation, and other preventive measures.
