2. Health Tips
As winter sets in and temperatures drop, the peak season of respiratory infectious diseases is approaching. We would like to remind all citizens of the following precautions. 1. Practice Personal Protection. Adjust your clothing promptly according to indoor and outdoor temperatures, and minimize outdoor activities during strong winds or cold waves. Maintain proper hand hygiene and wear a mask when visiting crowded places or having close contact with individuals showing respiratory symptoms. Elderly people and school-age children are encouraged to get vaccinated against the flu. 2. Monitor Your Health. If you experience symptoms such as fever, cough, or diarrhea, it is necessary to avoid going to crowded places, closely monitor your condition, and seek medical attention as needed. 3. Maintain Home Hygiene. Ventilate your home daily depending on the weather, and clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces such as toys and furniture. If any family members exhibit symptoms like vomiting or diarrhea, it is necessary to handle vomit and excreta properly and promptly. 4. Childcare institutions, schools, and other collective units should strengthen education on disease prevention, improve environmental cleanliness, and implement health monitoring and reporting systems, such as morning and midday health checks. Students and staff should refrain from attending school or work while unwell. 5. Adopt Healthy Lifestyle Habits. Drink boiled water, eat thoroughly cooked food, and maintain a balanced diet with a mix of coarse and refined grains. Exercise regularly and plan your activities appropriately to enhance physical fitness and boost immunity.
