The top five diseases with a large number of cases are COVID-19, Hand, Food and Mouth Diseases, Other Infectious Diarrhea, Viral Hepatitis, and Syphilis, accounting for 90.9% of the total number of cases of legal infectious diseases.

II. Health tips for key epidemic situation

The number of reported cases of legal infectious diseases in Beijing this week has increased compared with last week. Respiratory infectious diseases and intestinal infectious diseases are the main reported diseases, the cases of which accounted for 60.7% and 30.9% of the reported number respectively.

Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease is the most common in infants and young children aged 5 and under. Parents should avoid taking children to crowded public places. It is necessary to cultivate children's hygiene habits of washing hands correctly after using public goods and before and after meals. The items, toys and utensils that children often touch should be regularly disinfected. It is suggested to do a good job of cleaning and disinfecting for daily household items. If the child has a fever or rash, it is necessary to seek medical treatment in time.
