During the 13th week of 2023, there were a total of 27,536 cases of 15 kinds of legal infectious diseases reported, and 3 cases died in Beijing. The top five diseases with a large number of cases are Influenza, COVID-19, Other Infectious Diarrhea, Tuberculosis, and Syphilis, accounting for 99.2% of the total number of cases of legal infectious diseases.

II. Health tips for key epidemic situation

The number of reported cases of legal infectious diseases in Beijing this week decreased by 36.6% compared with last week, and respiratory infectious diseases were the main reported diseases, the cases of which accounted for 97.9% of the reported number.

At present during the early spring, the cold air flows frequently, causing great temperature fluctuation, which is conducive to the occurrence and epidemic of respiratory infectious diseases. Citizens should adjust clothing in time according to temperature changes, maintain good personal hygiene habits, ventilate and wash hands frequently, avoid gathering, ensure a balanced diet, moderate exercise, and adequate rest.
