I. Epidemic overview

During the 6th week of 2023, there were a total of 2010 cases of 14 kinds of legal infectious diseases reported, and 1 case died in Beijing. The top five diseases with a large number of cases are COVID-19, Other Infectious Diarrhea, Tuberculosis, Influenza, and Syphilis, accounting for 91.3% of the total number of cases of legal infectious diseases.

II. Health tips for key epidemic situation

The number of reported cases of legal infectious diseases in Beijing this week has increased compared with last week, and it is generally at a low level. Respiratory infectious diseases were the main reported diseases, the cases of which accounted for 75.3% of the reported number.

At present, the primary and middle schools have started the semesters. Teachers and students should carry out their own health monitoring and cooperate with the school for the morning and noon inspection. If symptoms such as fever, dry cough, fatigue, or sore throat appear, it is necessary to avoid going to school or work. It is recommended to adhere to the common prevention of multiple diseases because it is still the high season of influenza and norovirus acute gastroenteritis. It is necessary to do a good job in personal protection and hand hygiene, strict cleaning and processing of food, scientific disinfection of pollutants and other measures.
