II. Health tips for key epidemic situation
The number of reported cases of legal infectious diseases in Beijing this week has increased compared with last week. Respiratory infectious diseases and intestinal infectious diseases are the main reported diseases, the cases of which accounted for 45.7% and 31.6% of the reported number respectively.
Summer is the season of high incidence of intestinal infectious diseases. Citizens should avoid have raw water or cold and spoiled food, especially raw seafood and aquatic products. Cooked food purchased from the market and leftovers should be heated and cooked thoroughly. It is necessary to wash hands before meals and after using toilet, wash or sterilize tableware and chopsticks, separate cooking utensils for raw and cooked foods, and carry out flies control actions. It is necessary to avoid dumping garbage casually or pollute water sources. Patients should seek medical attention in time if symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea occur.
At present, the domestic epidemic is spreading in many places. During the summer vacation, there are many people traveling abroad, and the mobility and aggregation of people increase. The imported epidemic is the biggest risk of epidemic prevention and control in Beijing. Citizens should continue to insist not to travel to medium and high-risk areas and areas where confirmed cases are reported. Those who travel outside Beijing should pay attention to the local epidemic situation, strictly abide by the epidemic prevention regulations, and do a good job in personal protection. People entering and returning to Beijing should pay attention to the health of themselves and their families. Once symptoms such as fever, dry cough, fatigue, sore throat, decreased sense of smell (taste), and diarrhea occur, it is necessary to notify community staff as soon as possible and cooperate with corresponding control measures. Nucleic acid testing should be carried out in accordance with regulations, and normal prevention and control measures such as scanning code for temperature measurement, wearing of masks correctly, and maintaining safe social distance should be strictly implemented when entering public places.
