I. Epidemic overview

During the 18th week of 2022, there were a total of 961 cases of 15 kinds of legal infectious diseases reported, and 4 cases died in Beijing. The top five diseases with a large number of cases are COVID-19, Other Infectious Diarrhea, Tuberculosis, Influenza, and Hepatitis, accounting for 83.3% of the total number of cases of legal infectious diseases.

II. Health tips for key epidemic situation

This week, the number of reported cases of legal infectious diseases in Beijing decreased by 24.8% compared with last week, which is generally at a low level. Respiratory infectious diseases and intestinal infectious diseases were the main reported diseases, the cases of which accounted for 40.5% and 29.0% of the reported number, respectively.

At present, there are new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Beijing through multiple channels and transmission chains. Citizens should adhere to the normalized prevention and control measures, such as not leaving Beijing unless necessary, reducing the flow of people, reducing gatherings, wearing masks scientifically, washing hands frequently, ventilating regularly, cooperating with scanning health code, measuring temperature and checking the negative result of nucleic acid test while entering public places. In addition, it is necessary to actively participate in nucleic acid screening organized by regional organizations, conduct nucleic acid testing at the nearest location, maintain a safe social distance, and earnestly fulfill personal prevention and control responsibilities.
