I. Epidemic overview

During the 7th week of 2022, there were a total of 2510 cases of 16 kinds of legal infectious diseases reported, and 4 cases died in Beijing. The top five diseases with a large number of cases are Influenza, Other Infectious Diarrhea, Viral Hepatitis, Tuberculosis, and Syphilis, accounting for 96.0% of the total number of cases of legal infectious diseases.

II. Health tips for key epidemic situation

The number of reported cases of legal infectious diseases in Beijing this week decreased by 28.2% compared with last week, which is generally at a low level. Respiratory infectious diseases were the main reported diseases, the cases of which accounted for 71.4% of the reported number.

At present, Beijing is in the alternating period of winter and spring, and the temperature difference changes greatly. One to two weeks after the start of school is a "high-risk period" for infectious diseases such as influenza, infectious diarrhea, chickenpox, measles, and mumps in campus. Parents of students should pay close attention to their children's health status, and report to schools and kindergartens in time if symptoms such as fever, diarrhea, vomiting, and rash appear. It is necessary to seek medical treatment in a standardized manner, and do not go to class with illness. Second, parents should instruct children to develop good hygiene habits, such as washing hands frequently, hand disinfection, wearing masks correctly, covering their mouth and nose with a tissue or elbow when sneezing or coughing, and wash their hands in time.

At present, the epidemic situation abroad is severe, and local cases have been reported in many places in China. The epidemic prevention and control situation in Beijing is severe and complicated. Citizens should increase their awareness of prevention and control. First, those who have an intersection with the published case track, and those who receive a pop-up reminder from the Beijing Health Kit, should take the initiative to report to the community, unit, hotel, etc. immediately, and cooperate various prevention and control measures. The second is to adhere to normalized epidemic prevention and control measures, wear masks scientifically, avoid shaking hands, wash hands and ventilate frequently, and try not to go to places with dense crowds and poor ventilation. The third is to cooperate with prevention and control measures such as wearing masks, checking health code and temperature, and one-meter social distance when entering public places.
