III. Key Notes
In accordance with the request of notice (2009 No. 8) of the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Health has incorporated A/H1N1 (formerly known as Human Swine Influenza) into Type B infectious diseases according to the regulations of the "Communicable Disease Prevention Act of People's Republic of China", and taken the prevention and control measures of Type A infectious diseases. To this end, health prevention institutions at all levels should do a good job in prevention and control of A/H1N1 in accordance with the requests of such law and regulation as "Communicable Disease Prevention Act of People's Republic of China" and "Management Criterion of Infectious Diseases Information Reporting".

This week, the epidemic situation of infectious diseases remained stable, with a slight decrease of Type B and slight increase of Type C from last week. The case number of hand-foot-mouth disease increased slightly. May — July is the peak season of hand-foot-mouth disease, so the city health bureau requested that health and epidemic prevention departments at county and district levels continue to strengthen cooperation with education relevant departments, closely monitor the hand-foot-mouth disease epidemic, strictly implement various prevention and control measures of hand-foot-mouth disease, and achieve the goal of "early detection, early reporting, early treatment, early quarantine" to prevent the outbreak and spread of the epidemic.
