During the 7th week of 2011 (from February 14, 2011 to February 20, 2011), 1076 cases of legal notifiable disease with 4 cases of death (3 of hepatitis B, and 1 of HCV) were reported in Beijing. There were 9 kinds, 709 cases of class B infectious diseases reported in total, and the top three epidemics were respectively tuberculosis, infectious diarrhea and syphilis according to the number of cases reported. There were 6 kinds, 367 cases of class C infectious diseases reported in total, and the top three epidemics were respectively other infectious diarrhea, epidemic parotitis and hand-foot-and-mouth disease according to the number of cases reported. The number of class C infectious diseases cases reduced 8.48% than last week but increased 4.26% than the same period of last year.
(1) Measles
7 cases were reported in this week, 3 cases more than that of last week and 29 cases less comparing with that of the same period of last year.
As of the 7th week of 2011, 11 cases had been reported accumulatively in Beijing, 130 cases less comparing with that of the same period of last year.
(2) A H1N1 Influenza
23 cases were reported in this week, 20 cases less than that of last week. Among the patients, retired officers, scattered-living children and leader staff held a larger majority.
As of the 7th week of 2011, a total of 254 cases had been reported in Beijing, 4 cases more comparing with that of the same period of last year; a total of 5 death cases were reported, less 5 cases comparing with that of the same period of last year.
(3) Scarlet Fever
28 cases in total were reported in this week. Among the patients, kindergarten children held a larger majority.
As of the 7th week of 2011, there were 364 cases reported accumulatively.
(4) Epidemic parotitis
31 cases in total were reported in this week. Among the patients, students and scattered-living children held a larger majority.
As of the 7th week of 2011, there were 268 cases reported accumulatively.
(5) Chichen Pox
368 cases in total were reported in this week. Among the patients, students, scattered-living children and leader staff held a larger majority.
As of the 7th week of 2011, there were 2818 cases reported accumulatively.
