I. Epidemic situation

During the 41st week of 2018 (from October 8, 2018 to October 14, 2018), there were a total of 1,942 cases of 15 kinds of legal infectious diseases reported, and 5 cases died in the city. The five diseases with a large number of cases are Hand-foot-mouth Disease, Other Infectious Diarrhea, Tuberculosis, Syphilis and Dysentery, accounting for 82.85% of the reported cases of legal infectious diseases.

II. Key epidemic situation

(i) Hand-foot-mouth Disease

The number of cases reported this week is increased by 0.49% as compared with last week as shown in Figure 1.

The number of cases reported this week is increased by 25.87% as compared with last week as shown in Figure 2.

(iii) Tuberculosis

One public health emergency of tuberculosis in schools was reported and was promptly addressed.
