I. Epidemic situation 
During the 41st week of 2019, there were a total of 1,954 cases of 17 kinds of legal infectious diseases reported, and 1 case died in the city. The top five diseases with a large number of cases are Other Infectious Diarrhea, Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease, Tuberculosis, Influenza and Syphilis, accounting for 82.7% of the total number of cases of legal infectious diseases.

II. Key epidemic situation 
Affected by the decrease in hospital visiting during the National Day holiday last week, the number of reported cases of infectious diseases in our city has increased this week. The cases of infectious diseases reported are still mainly intestinal infectious diseases, accounting for two thirds of total number of reported cases of all legal infectious diseases. Among them, Other Infectious Diarrheal increased by 40.6% compared with last week, and Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease increased by 30.7% compared with last week.
This week, the incidence of influenza in our city is still at a low level throughout the year. According to the monitoring data of the past three years, the peak incidence of Influenza in our city generally appears around New Year's Day. The World Health Organization stresses that vaccination is the most effective way to prevent Influenza, and it is recommended that citizens should get Influenza vaccine every year to prevent complications such as pneumonia caused by influenza and influenza infection. Free vaccination for influenza for the elderly over 60 years old and the primary and middle school students are provided freely in the city. The elderly who are 65 years old and older can also be vaccinated with 23-valent pneumococcal vaccine at the same time. The citizens can check the nearest vaccination site for vaccination. The self-funded flu vaccine requires an advance reservation.
