Recently, the Daxing Sub-center of Beijing 120 Emergency Medical Service, Daxinzhuang Emergency Station, received a dispatch instruction: north of a bridge on a certain expressway, a young male motorcyclist lost control of his motorcycleand fell, requiring urgent medical assistance.
Upon arrival at the scene, emergency personnel found that the patient had fallen onto a roadside slope after the motorcycle overturned. The patient sustained multiple abrasions and localized soft tissue contusions. He remained conscious but was unable to move independently. The emergency team immediately conducted a thorough injury assessment, including rapid evaluation of the cervical spine, limbs, and vital signs. After ruling out high-risk injuries such as spinal fractures, the responders secured the patient with a spinal board to prevent secondary injury during transfer.
During on-site rescue operations, emergency personnel worked closely with assisting staff to carefully move the patient from the slope to the roadway. The patient was then steadily transferred onto the ambulance stretcher and transported to the nearest hospital for further examination and treatment. Throughout the mission, the ambulance crew demonstrated rapid response, professional medical care, and efficient coordination, successfully completing on-site emergency treatment and patient transfer while maximizing the protection of the patient’s life and safety.
