Recently, the emergency rescue crew from Shijingshan Wulituo received a dispatch task from the emergency center, reporting a 50-year-old female patient at a hotel who had suddenly started vomiting and was now unconscious. The rescue team immediately rushed to the scene at full speed.

On this cold winter night, the piercing wind could not halt the footsteps of the 120 emergency crew. Dr. Ma Jianchun quickly made a phone call: "Hello, we are from 120. What is the patient's current condition?" "Doctor, my mom suddenly vomited, and now she’s unresponsive no matter how I call her..." The panic and urgency were palpable in the voice. "Don’t worry, miss. First, tilt your mother’s head to one side to prevent choking, check if she’s breathing. We should be there in about 10 minutes."

In just 7 minutes, the rescue team arrived at the scene. The patient was found lying motionless on the ground. Dr. Ma swiftly assessed her condition, confirmed there were no external injuries, and carefully transferred her onto a stretcher for further treatment. Her blood sugar was 25.1mmol/L, her blood pressure was 210/120mmHg, and her pupil response to light was faint. The condition was critical. Nurse Gu Chun Yue immediately followed Dr. Ma's instructions to start an intravenous line, administering 250ml of glucose intravenously and providing oxygen. The crew worked together to stabilize the patient and transfer her onto the ambulance. Inside the ambulance, the medical team worked in clear coordination. The heart monitor was connected, oxygen administered, the intravenous line secured, vital signs measured, the stroke green channel was activated, and continuous monitoring of the patient’s condition followed. The driver chose the optimal route and sped toward the hospital.

When the ambulance arrived at the emergency department, the neurologist was already waiting to receive the patient. A swift handover, physical examination, and evaluation followed. The rescue crew then worked with emergency department staff to escort the patient to the CT room. After the scan, they safely transferred her to the resuscitation room for further treatment. Amid the helplessness of the patient’s family, the emergency team stood strong, providing the mother and daughter with their most reliable support.

The rescue crew, unwavering in their mission, spared no effort in seizing every opportunity to save a precious life. Their actions embody the spirit of medical compassion, boundless love, and warmth, offering comfort on cold winter nights.
