Recently, the dispatching center of the Beijing Emergency Center received a number of calls for help. Most of them suffers from diarrhea after meal. After the arrival of the emergency crew, it was learned that most of the symptoms of abdominal pain and diarrhea occurred after dining at the roadside restaurants. The disease was initially considered as infectious diarrhea. After on-site treatment, the patients were sent to the intestine clinic of hospitals for further treatment.
In the hot weather in summer, various bacteria grow and multiply quickly, and food safety is especially important in this season. The most common cause of infectious diarrhea is cold salad, leftovers, expired foods, etc. These foods are easily contaminated by Salmonella or Staphylococcus aureus, which may cause acute inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract. In addition, diarrhea is also closely related to the patient's own physical condition. Weak gastrointestinal function, lack of exercise, weak immunity, coupled with cold and hot diet, can also lead to diarrhea.
Here are some tips from Beijing 120. For daily diet, please choose a standard restaurant. It is best to eat the food cooked on the same day. The raw food should be stored separately to prevent the bacteria from entering the mouth. If you have symptoms such as fever, abdominal pain, diarrhea, vomiting, and dehydration after dining, it is advised to call 120 in time.
