Management Committee Meeting for China-France First Aid and Disaster Medicine Cooperation Center of 2019 was Held

On May 21, 2019, the Management Committee meeting for China-France First Aid and Disaster Medicine Cooperation Center was held in Beijing Anzhen Hospital. The Health, Social Affairs and Labor Counsellor of the French Embassy in China, Bai Bian, the Deputy Inspector of the Beijing Municipal Health Commission, Zheng Jinpu, and the Chairman of the French Total Group, Zhao Weiliang, attended the meeting and delivered speeches.
Relevant officials of Beijing Anzhen Hospital and relevant experts of the Paris Public Hospital Group made a summary of the work of the Center in 2018 and the work plan of 2019. The person in charge of the International Cooperation Department of the Municipal Health Commission explained the change of the vice chairman of the management committee. The experts from China and France highly valued the achievements of the Center in the past year and stated that they will continue to push the cooperation between the two sides to a higher level in the field of first aid and disaster medicine.
Deputy Inspector Zheng Jinpu thanked the project parties for their contributions to the cooperation in the field of health between China and France. He said that in 2019, China hosted many large-scale international events successfully, and will also celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 2022 Winter Olympics. The work and development of the China-France Emergency Medical Center will play an important role in those major events. The Beijing Health Commission will work with the French Embassy in China and various partners to boost the construction and development of the center with more resources, and maintain good development of the China-French First Aid and Disaster Medicine Cooperation Center.
Counselor Bai Bian thanked all parties of the project for their support of the center. The partners continue to reflect on the new goals of the future development of the center. The French Embassy in China will continue to support the development of the center and continuously replicate the mature experience of the center and continue to promote it.
Chairman Zhao Weiliang spoke highly of the achievements of the Center in the past 10 years and said that the Center has played a leading role in the field of clinical training and academic research on emergency first aid in China and France. Total Group will continue to pay attention to the future development of the center.
The French Embassy in China, the relevant person in charge of the French Total Group, the relevant departments of the Beijing Health Commission, the relevant personnel and experts of the Beijing Anzhen Hospital, the Beijing Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Beijing Emergency Center attended the meeting.
