From:Beijing Municipal Health Commission
Date:05/20/2019

In May, the wind is mild and the flowers are in full bloom in Beijing. In this exciting season, we ushered in the 108th "5.12 International Nurses Day." We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the 200,000 hard-working white angels who have worked hard in nursing positions and who have been engaged in nursing work, and to all the friends who care about the reform and development of the nursing industry in the capital.
Over the years, the leaders of the central government come to Beijing on International Nurses Day to visit workers in nursing industry. Under the correct leadership and care of the municipal party committee and the municipal government, the nursing workers in the city bear the mission in mind, treat the client with love, care and responsibility, and do a good job in nursing.
At present, all the industries in the city are conscientiously implementing the important guiding spirit of the General Secretary Xi Jinping on the work of Beijing and making every effort to promote the high-quality development of the capital. The health system of the city has earnestly implemented the party's policy on health work in the new era. In the second year of the remarkable effect of comprehensive reform of the separation of treatment and medicine, the comprehensive reform of medical consumables for eliminating cost-plus of medical consumables and standardizing medical services will be fully implemented in June this year. The “Internet + Nursing Service” is booming and the nursing services of good quality has been widely praised by the public. It is hoped that the nursing workers will be more consciously committed to improving the experience of medical treatment for residents, actively participate in the reform of the medical system in the capital, improve the medical ethics, and celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China with outstanding results.
