Beijing and Shenyang Signed Cooperation Framework Agreement on Health and Medical Services

In order to conscientiously implement the relevant requirements of the municipal party committee and municipal government for strengthening the cooperation between Beijing and Shenyang, according to the actual medical and health conditions in Shenyang, on July 20, 2018, the party committee secretary and director of the Municipal Commission of Health and Family Planning, Lei Haichao, together with the relevant staff of government and seven municipal hospitals of Beijing, went to Shenyang to conduct research and docking on medical and health cooperation and signed the Beijing-Shenyang Health Care Cooperation Framework Agreement of 2018-2020.

The research team listened to the introduction of the development of medical and health care in Shenyang, and went to the Shengjing Hospital affiliated to China Medical University and the Fourth People's Hospital of Shenyang City to conduct a discussion with Shenyang City and China Medical University. Both parties reached agreement on giving full play to the medical resource advantages in Beijing and Shenyang, strengthening talent training and scientific and technological innovation, promoting the construction of key disciplines, establishing an academic exchange mechanism for high-level management talents in Beijing-Shenyang medical and health fields, carrying out collaboration between Beijing and Shenyang on telemedicine consultation to jointly promote medical and health service capabilities complementation in the two cities. Beijing Ditan Hospital and Shenyang Sixth Hospital signed inter-hospital cooperation agreements with seven cooperative hospitals.

Wu Xiangyang, member of the Standing Committee of Shenyang Municipal Committee and deputy mayor of Shenyang, Cheng Xiaolong, deputy secretary general of the Municipal Party Committee of Shenyang, and relevant officials of health and family planning commissions of Beijing and Shenyang participated in the survey.
