Conference on the Quality Control of Treatment of Acute Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Diseases and Chest Pain of 2018 was Held in Beijing

On the afternoon of July 4, 2018, the Beijing Municipal Commission of Health and Family Planning entrusted the Beijing Quality Control Center of Cardiovascular Intervention to organize a conference on the quality control of treatment of acute cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and chest pain in Beijing. Nearly 200 relevant personnel of health and family planning commissions of 16 districts and 62 medical institutions (including military hospitals) with capabilities of cardiovascular interventional first aid treatment attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the Quality Control Center of Municipal Cardiovascular Intervention introduced the city's coronary artery and acute myocardial infarction data from January to May and interpreted the diagnosis and treatment process of acute chest pain. People's Hospital of Daxing District, Beijing Tsinghua Chang Gung Hospital, and Chuiyangliu Hospital shared their management experience on using "Green Channel for Heart and Brain APP". The Medical Administration and Management Office of the Municipal Commission of Health and Family Planning has put forward clear requirements for the record management of cardiovascular disease interventional diagnosis and treatment technology, and has reported on the use of the “Heart and Brain Green Channel APP” and the improvement of cardiovascular disease treatment capacity.

At the meeting, it was requested that the “Green Channel of Heart and Brain APP” should be used to push patients to all hospitals in the city with the ability to treat acute cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases according to the principle of proximity. Medical institutions should use the app to connect with pre-hospital first aid, and report key time nodes and basic quality control information of patients with acute cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases within 8 hours after the end of treatment. The municipal quality control center of cardiovascular disease should control the quality of the second and third grade medical institutions that receive acute cardiovascular disease patients in the city, issue quality control information, and update the first-aid map of myocardial infarction.

It was emphasized at the meeting that it is a project benefiting the people to treat patients with acute cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases in a standardized, timely and efficient manner. It is necessary to give full play to the pivotal role of the emergency department and use the application to strengthen the connection of the pre-hospital first-aid and treatment within hospital and data submission. Relying on the management platform, data platform and quality control platform to continuously improve the medical treatment of acute cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases in our city through efficient and unified management and continuous improvement.
