Beijing Municipal Commission of Health and Family Planning Attended the 2018 Hong Kong Hospital Authority Seminar

On May 7th and 8th, 2018, the 2018 Hong Kong Hospital Authority Seminar was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. Lei Haichao, director of the Municipal Commission of Health and Family Planning attended the convention with a delegation and gave a speech.

This year's conference focused on the core value of the Hong Kong Hospital Authority, which is based on "people first, professionalism, teamwork, and dedication". More than 6,000 health managers and experts from the Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and European countries and the United States attended the conference. At the opening ceremony of the conference, Liang Zhiren, Chairman of the Hong Kong Hospital Authority, Zeng Yixin, Deputy Director of the National Health Committee, and Chen Maobo, Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government delivered speeches. Liang Beixian, President of the Hospital Authority, gave a new report on “Comprehensive Collaboration – A New Chapter of Medical Service”.

Director Lei Haichao made a speech on “The New System Plan of Beijing Medical Health Service Oriented to 2035” in the “China Medical Special Symposium”. He carried out a detailed introduction and forward-looking analysis of the city's medical and health work from three aspects: the status quo of Beijing's medical and health service system, the development opportunities and challenges, and the establishment of a new system for Beijing's medical and health development oriented to 2035. Focusing on the establishment of a world-class modern health management system that is compatible with the harmonious and livable city, we introduced the core concepts and measures such as optimizing the allocation of health resources, enhancing primary health service capabilities, and Internet+ medical health. The report has aroused a strong resonance in the guests and the audience.

During their stay in Hong Kong, the delegation also visited the Prince of Wales Hospital and had a working exchange with the Director of the Hong Kong Food and Health Bureau, Chen Shao Shi, the Director of Department of Health of Hong Kong, Chen Hanyi, the Chairman Liang Zhiren and the Chief Executive Officer Liang Baixian of the Hong Kong Hospital Authority.
