Beijing Municipal Commission of Health and Family Planning Announced the Beijing Municipal Centers for Clinical Research Quality Promotion

At the Science and Education Work Conference of Beijing Health and Family Planning Commission recently held, the Beijing Municipal Commission of Health and Family Planning announced the list of the Beijing Municipal Centers for Clinical Research Quality Promotion (referred to as the “Quality Promoting Center”) in 2018. A total of 26 units covering universities, medical institutions, and research institutes became supporting institutions of the Quality Promoting Center.

The Quality Promotion Center is an important part of the city's clinical research system. It is an important support for regulating clinical research behavior, improving research quality, and strengthening clinical research capacity. It is also an important measure for accelerating the construction of Beijing National Science and Technology Innovation Center in the field of health care. Through voluntary reporting, first trial, expert review, comprehensive evaluation and preferential selection, 26 units finally became the first batch of quality promotion centers. The quality promotion centers and supporting units are responsible for establishing a sound management system, strengthening methodological team building, actively conducting methodological studies such as evidence-based medicine and clinical epidemiology, actively conducting methodological training, providing methodological guidance and other supportive services, and improving methodological assessment capabilities in the health field and medical of the city. The effective period of the quality promotion center is 3 years. According to the work development and the construction of the discipline team, a dynamic management method will be implemented.
