On March 21, 2018, Lei Haichao, deputy party secretary and director of the Municipal Commission of Health and Family Planning, came to the Administrative Service Center of the Municipal Government to visit the staff of the commission working in the service hall, and conducted a research for better serving the people and reducing the number of procedures.

Director Lei inquired about the setting of each window and the provision of services, communicated with staff at the window about the specific business of administrative licensing and affirmed the professional quality of the staff. He stressed that the hall service window was an important link between the Municipal Commission of Health and Family Planning and the society. The service quality was directly related to the experience in satisfying the masses with their government service needs. It was necessary for the persons and institutions that come to the window to feel the enthusiasm and professionalism of the staff. At the same time, the service staff should timely feedback the opinions and suggestions for handling business to the corresponding office of the committee to better serve the society. For the current situation with many business information systems, Director Lei also proposed requirements and guidance for the merging and integration of window service information systems.

After the window survey was completed, Director Lei and Director Zhao Jinhua of the Municipal Affairs Service Office and Director Li Sanzhong of the Examination and Approval Division held an informal discussion. Director Lei thanked the Municipal Affairs Service Office for providing a good service and support for service windows of the Municipal Commission of Health and Family Planning. During the informal discussion, the two sides exchanged ideas on the process optimization of government services, "one-stop service" and "service distribution" and put forward ideas and opinions on the follow-up cooperation and coordination of relevant work.

Leaders and staff in charge of the relevant departments of the Municipal Commission of Health and Family Planning accompanied the investigation.
