Lei Haichao went to the pediatrics, respiratory medicine, fever clinic and intensive care unit of relevant medical and health institutions and learned more about the deployment of health care forces, drug supply, infection prevention and control, science popularization and other aspects of the work. He visited the front-line medical staff, communicated with the flu patients being treated and told them to comply with doctor's advice to take active treatment and get early recovery.

Lei pointed out that at present, the city is still in a high stage of influenza epidemic. Although influenza-like illness and agglomerative fever have recently decreased, the prevention and control work still need to be strengthened. Firstly, it is necessary to deepen the spread of the knowledge of influenza prevention and control knowledge. Health guidance on flu should be given to different groups like students, the elderly and occupational groups and other groups. Secondly, it is required to unite education, transportation, construction and other departments to conduct supervision and inspection of primary and secondary schools, kindergartens, stations, airports and construction sites. We should supervise and urge the implementation of prevention and control measures to do a good job of publicity and disinfection. Thirdly, it is necessary to rationally allocate medical staff and increase the supply capacity of services in pediatric, respiratory and fever clinics to meet the public's needs. Fourthly, we need to make active efforts to provide support, services and support of medical staff so as to ensure the health of medical staff and provide good supportive conditions for treatment. Fifthly, we should timely deploy medical supplies to ensure the need of clinical and prevention work. Sixthly, we need to guide patients to disperse treatment to different levels of hospitals to relieve the pressure of individual hospitals. From the perspective of the whole city, the overall supply capacity of pediatric and respiratory departments and other medical services are guaranteed. The seventh is to pay attention to the combination of traditional Chinese and western medicines and give full play to the role of traditional Chinese medicine in the prevention and control of influenza.
