Weekly Epidemic Report (from June 24, 2019 to June 30, 2019)

I. Epidemic situation 
During the 26th week of 2019, there were a total of 2,532 cases of 18 kinds of legal infectious diseases reported, and 1 case died in the city. The top five diseases with a large number of cases are Other Infectious Diarrhea, Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease, Tuberculosis, Dysentery and Influenza, covering 84.72% of total reported cases of legal infectious diseases. 

II. Key epidemic situation 
Compared with last week, the number of reported infectious diseases increased slightly this week, and most of the cases are intestinal infectious diseases. Other Infectious Diarrhea, Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease and Dysentery accounted for 69.23% of all legal infectious diseases. According to the monitoring data over the years, it is predicted that the number of reports of intestinal infectious diseases will continue to rise in the near future.
Due to the high temperature in summer, and it is easy for intestinal infectious diseases to occur. In densely populated schools and kindergartens, clustering epidemics should be actively prevented. As the summer vacation approaching, the general public should pay attention to food hygiene and develop good personal hygiene habits when going out for travel and in daily life to prevent infection with intestinal infectious diseases.
The increased density of mosquitoes in summer not only harasses life, but also spreads a variety of infectious diseases such as dengue fever and malaria. The general public should protect themselves from mosquito bites to prevent infectious diseases while traveling abroad, especially when going to Africa, Southeast Asia and other regions.
